Target Audience
This activity has been designed to meet the educational needs of APPs (nurses, NPs, PAs) and PharmDs involved in the care of patients with rheumatic disease and who may be unable to attend the annual RhAPP National Conference.

Program Overview
The joint providership of Medical Education Resources (MER) and Rheumatology Advanced Practice Providers (RhAPP) presents the 2024 RhAPP Regional Summit Series. Each summit will feature an educational program focused on hot topics in psoriatic arthritis (PsA), systemic lupus erythematosus (SLE), gout, and vasculitis.

Educational Objectives
After completing this activity, participants should be better able to:

Describe the latest clinical guidelines and treatment recommendations for the management of rheumatic disease.

Individualize treatment and dosing for patients with rheumatic disease by assessing the latest evidence-based benefits of the available treatments.

Assess the risk factors associated with each treatment recommendation and carefully monitor patients for adverse events.

Evaluate new treatment options for rheumatic disease and therapeutics development.

Assess the risk-benefit for patients receiving new therapeutics for rheumatic disease.

In support of improving patient care, this activity has been planned and implemented by Medical Education Resources (MER) and Rheumatology Advance Practice Providers (RhAPP). MER is jointly accredited by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME), the Accreditation Council for Pharmacy Education (ACPE), and the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC), to provide continuing education for the healthcare team.
Medical Education Resources has been authorized by the American Academy of PAs (AAPA) to award AAPA Category 1 CME credit for activities planned in accordance with AAPA CME Criteria. This activity is designated for 1.50 AAPA Category 1 CME credits. PAs should only claim credit commensurate with the extent of their participation.
